Anthidium manicatum female 8"x10" Print

Anthidium manicatum female 8"x10" Print

Scientific illustration of a female European Wool Carder Bee (Anthidium manicatum). Female wool carder bees are so named because they will scrape the fuzzy trichomes (hairs) from plants, roll them into a soft ball, and use it to create a nest for their developing young. They especially love the fuzz and flowers of Lamb's Ear and Rose Campion.

Print created from my original colored pencil drawing and printed on fine art paper. Watermarks will not appear on actual print!

The standard 8"x10" size is easily matted into an 11"x14" mat and frame. A great size for any room! (Frame is not included, just for demonstration purposes.)

The print will come to you in a protective plastic sleeve with a hard backing. It has been signed by me.
