Euglossa and Phalaenopsis 8"x10" Print
Illustration of orchid bees (Euglossa spp) and Harlequin Spotted Orchid flowers (Phalaenopsis spp). Here we see three different orchid bees, two green and one purple. Male orchid bees fly into orchid flowers to collect scented oils, possibly used to attract female bees. In the process, they also pollinate the orchids. Euglossa are found mostly in/near Central America, but has been recently established in Florida in the U.S. as well.
Print created from my original colored pencil and pastels drawing;
The standard 8"x10" size is easily matted into an 11"x14" mat and frame. A great size for any room! (Frame is not included, just for demonstration purposes.)
The print will come to you in a protective plastic sleeve with a hard backing. It has been signed by me.
-Watermarks are not printed on the actual prints. They are for protection purposes for my website only.
